Crews respond to structure fire in the Flats

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat Emergency Services were on the scene of a structure fire at the Cecil Hotel on the 700 block of Fourth Street SE this morning.
Firefighters could be seen on the roof of the building and accessing the top floor through a fire escape.
Later Thursday, firefighters said the fire is not suspicious but there is an investigation underway.
No injuries were reported and there is fire and water damage to the building.
