Gleichen RCMP looking for missing girl, 16

SIKSIKA NATION, AB – Gleichen RCMP are asking the public for help to find a missing teenager.

RCMP say 16-year-old Makayla Louise Young was last seen on the evening of April 9 when she left a family member’s residence to return home to Calgary. She had been visiting family on the Siksika Nation.

Police want to speak with Makayla and verify her well-being.

Makayla is described as:

• Indigenous
• 5’9″ / 123 lbs
• Slender
• Brown eyes
• Long brown hair
• Tattoo of a symbol by her left eye and a backwards “F” on her left cheek
