Wind warning in effect for Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB- Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Medicine Hat and the surrounding area.

Winds gusting between 90 to 100 km/ hr is expected to develop overnight. The winds blowing from the northwest are expected to last through much of the day Monday before easing Monday evening.

Environment Canada warns damage to buildings may occur. Tree branches and loose objects may also succumb to the strength of the wind.
