Stolen truck linked to suspect in domestic assault

Police asking for public’s help in finding suspect in domestic assault

MEDICINE HAT — Medicine Hat city police are looking for a 46 year old male from Medicine Hat, as part of an investigation of a domestic assault yesterday.

The suspect fled before police arrived at a home in the 600 block of Industrial Avenue S.E.

A search of the area was conducted and involved both a K9 team as well as the MHPS unmanned aerial vehicle, but was unsuccessful in locating the suspect.

Around the same time, a white 2004 Dodge Ram truck was reported as stolen from the area.

The Alberta licence plate on the truck is CGJ 1085.

The suspect’s name can not be released at this time as charges have not been formally processed, however police confirm he is a 46-year-old Medicine Hat male and described as 5’10 tall, 180lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police advise anyone not to approach the suspect or attempt to apprehend, but to call police instead.
