COVID-19 case at Brooks Employment Centre

BROOKS, AB – The YMCA of Medicine Hat has confirmed a positive COVID-19 case at the Brooks Employment Centre.

On Wednesday afternoon, the YMCA was advised that an employee who works at the YMCA Employment Centre – Brooks office tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result, AHS directed the YMCA to temporarily close both YMCA Employment Centre office locations in Brooks located at 197A 200 Horticulture Station Rd SE and 403 2 AVE W while contact tracing occurs.

The YMCA anticipates this closure will last until March 24.
