Ross Glen school on AHS Alert status

Individual from Ross Glen School identified with COVID 19

MEDICINE HAT — Alberta Health Services has identified a case of COVID-19 at Ross Glen School in south east Medicine Hat.

As a result, the school says it has been placed on Alert status by AHS.

Some students and staff have been directed to quarantine for a specified period of time and all close contacts have been identified and are also in quarantine.

Out of an abundance of caution, the public school district has directed custodial services team to conduct enhanced cleaning protocols prior to the start of school this morning.

This additional cleaning will focus on areas where the individual was present along with high touch areas and surfaces throughout the school.
