Two from Calgary facing drug charges; police allege connection with drug seizure in Medicine Hat
CALGARY, AB — Calgary Police have arrested and charged two people after more than 12 kilograms of drugs were seized, and officers allege the seizure is connected with a drug seizure in Medicine Hat.
According to a release from the Calgary Police Service on Tuesday, officers arrested two men on December 4 after they were spotted exchanging items in the Sunridge Mall parking lot. Search warrants were executed on two vehicles and two residences, and police seized 10 kilograms of methamphetamine and 2.4 kilograms of cocaine.
Police also seized 504.8 grams of fentanyl, 42.3 kilograms of phancetin, $75,405 in cash, numerous cellphones and drug packaging equipment.
