BROOKS, AB – A spree of graffiti incidents over the past several days has caught the attention of RCMP in Brooks.

Brooks Mounties say they received a complaint about graffiti on the outside walls of a dance studio located in the 600 block of First Street West on Jan. 9 and a complaint about similar graffiti at the Sutherland Drive 7-Eleven the next day.

Investigation revealed several other locations throughout the city had also been spray-painted, including recreational areas and on private property.

All the graffiti was similar in nature and made reference to the USA, CIA, feminine hygiene products and animals, say RCMP.

Brooks RCMP are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brooks RCMP at 403-794-4400 or your local police.
