Santa’s visit to Medicine Hat Mall cancelled this year

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Santa Claus will not be making a visit at the Medicine Hat Mall this year.

The mall posted a statement on its Facebook page Thursday.

The safety of our customers, employees and the public remains our highest priority. Though Santa’s annual visit is a cherished holiday tradition, we want to ensure this year’s celebrations are safe. Out of an abundance of caution, Santa and the mall have made the difficult decision to cancel our in-mall Santa experience.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to other socially distanced holiday cheer events. We will have more to share shortly.
