No need yet for city police to change practises after letter from top doc
MEDICINE HAT, AB – A letter from Alberta’s chief medical officer of health is asking provincial police services to provide support to ensure enhanced health restrictions are followed.
The letter from Dr. Deena Hinshaw was sent to the Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police earlier this week.
But Medicine Hat police chief Andy McGrogan says it’s unlikely there will be much change in how officers operate, crediting residents for already following the rules.
