Farmers’ Market Christmas to offer a wide variety

Nov 6, 2020 | 11:47 AM

The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede has just the thing to help you kickstart your Christmas season.

The 23rd annual Farmers’ Market Christmas is set for Nov. 13 and 14 at the Cypress Centre.

“Our recipe for this Christmas Market is a twist of something homemade or made for a home,” says coordinator Doreen Gunderson in a release. “We’ve combined a healthy batch of homemade treats, stirred in some crafty vendors and added a pinch of other favorite market vendors.”

The market will follow the guidelines set by Alberta Health Services for farmers’ markets, just as the summer markets did.

Physical distancing will be in place as well as hand sanitizing stations.

The market will run Friday from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. -5 p.m. Admission is $2, free for those 12 and under.
