Forty Mile drops fire restriction to fire advisory

The County of Forty Mile has downgraded its fire restriction to a fire advisory.

A Twitter post from the county says fire permits are now being issued online at 40mile.ca or on the 40 Mile app.

The county asks residents to use extreme caution if burning is necessary.

The fire ban remains in effect for Cypress County.
