Minor hockey team collecting bottles for house fire victims

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A bottle drive is happening tonight for the family who lost their home in a fire on Monday afternoon.

Members of the Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Association’s U13 team will be collecting bottles from 6-8 p.m. at the entrance of Sterling Crescent SE.

A Facebook post from minor hockey indicates Rylan Selwood is on the U13 squad. The homeowners have been identified as Jody and Anton Selwood.

Medicine Hat Fire Services is still investigating the cause of the fire on Sunrise Court.
