Storm sewer repair set to start downtown

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The southbound lanes of one downtown block will be closed for about a week beginning on May 28.
Sixth Avenue SE between Second and Third Streets will be closed at crews repair a storm sewer. Pedestrian traffic along the sidewalk will be allowed during the work, which is expected to last until June 3, weather permitting.
Drivers are asked to obey all posted signs and detours and to slow down around crews.
The city reminds people to allow crews space to work safely, including adhering to physical distancing standards of two metres.
