Railway crossing at Box Springs Road being improved this week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A portion of 23rd Street NW will be closed to traffic on May 28 so Canadian Pacific Rail workers can install wooden planks at the railway crossing at Box Springs Road.
The planks will improve the rail surface at the intersection.
During the work the traffic will be detoured onto 10th Avenue NW and Brier Park Road. Local access will be permitted for the gas treating facility. Delays are to be expected and motorists should use alternate routes if possible, reads a city release.
The road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
