City wants to share kids’ Medicine Hat artwork

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Mayor Ted Clugston is asking kids to bring a little positivity to the rest of the city.

In a video posted to the City of Medicine Hat’s YouTube page, the mayor asks schoolkids to draw or paint their favourite part of the city, suggesting a favourite park, playground or perhaps a tree in Police Point Park. Clugston then wants parents to submit a photo of it through the city’s Facebook page.

“We’d like to post some fo those positive pictures, maybe with a positive statement on them, to our Instagram and Facebook pages,” the mayor says.

He adds this might seem like extra homework but thinks it could be fun for kids to do and show how much they love living in Medicine Hat
