Airdrie RCMP looking for suspect who used rubber chicken during robbery

AIRDRIE, AB — RCMP in Airdrie are investigating after a rubber chicken was used in the theft of a donation box earlier this month.

The theft occurred on February 11 at 1:22 p.m. at the Tim Hortons in the Crossiron Mills Mall.

According to officers, a male suspect entered Tim Hortons and walked up to the front counter. The suspect placed a rubber chicken over the donation box to conceal it and left the business.

Police are looking for a Caucasian male. He was wearing a blue sweater or jacket and a black balaclava at the time of the robbery.
