New buses added to Transit fleet

11 new buses being rolled out by MH Transit

MEDICINE HAT —The city is adding 11 new buses to the fleet at Medicine Hat Transit.

These new buses are about 10 feet shorter than the ones they’re replacing.

5 of the new buses are equipped with a modern diesel engine that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and improved fuel economy.

The other six additions run on Compressed Natural Gas.

The Provincial Green TRIP program funded two-thirds of the cost of the buses.
