Man subject of police news release in August arrested in city

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A 20-year-old Medicine Hat man subject of a wanted notice from the Medicine Hat police service has been arrested.

Justin Castor, along with a 26-year-old woman, were both arrested on Wednesday by members of the Medicine Hat Police Service. According to a news release from police, they were located in a vehicle which was allegedly reported stolen in Leader, Sask.

Police put out a request for public assistance to locate Castor on August 15 in relation to several offences, including flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen credit card and breach of probation.

Police say Castor allegedly tried to flee the scene as officers attempted to arrest him, but he was not successful.
