Bandits move Brazeau to OJHL for future considerations

BROOKS, AB – The Brooks Bandits have shipped off forward Brandon Brazeau to the Ontario Junior Hockey League after a handful of appearances in the AJHL pre-season.

On Friday, the Bandits announced they had moved the 19-year-old to the Markham Royals in exchange for future considerations.

Brazeau played in two pre-season games for Brooks, his stats in those two games were not available.

The Ontario product began the 2018-19 season in his home province with four goals and five points in 16 games with the CCHL’s Navan Grads before being traded to the AJHL’s Calgary Canucks.

Brazeau closed out his season with seven goals and 10 points in 13 games with Calgary.

Brooks winds up the pre-season on Saturday night with a road game against the Okotoks Oilers at 7:00 pm and will open the regular season on September 13 in Drumheller.
