Police ask for public’s help in arson investigation

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Police are asking for the public’s help in an arson investigation.

On Wednesday September 4 around 5:00 a.m. police responded to a residential fire on 4 Street SE.

The fire caused significant damage to the home, but no one was injured.

The Medicine hat Police Service Major Crime Section is working alongside investigators from the Medicine Hat Fire Service to determine what caused the fire.

As of now, police are calling it an arson investigation.
