Changes made for WPCA races in Medicine Hat
MEDICINE HAT, AB — The World Professional Chuckwagon Association has made changes to how the event in Medicine Hat will run this weekend.
The opening night of the races had to be stopped due to inclement weather in Medicine Hat Thursday night. According to a release from the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede and the WPCA, the event will move forward, with a few alterations.
“Normally in these situations the races would be held over for a Monday finish, but this option was not available this year for various reasons,” a statement from the WPCA reads. “In the best interests of the fans, volunteers, staff and competitors, both organizations agreed that the show will conclude on Sunday as scheduled.”
