Quebec to hold English leaders’ debate ahead of October election
MONTREAL — The leaders of Quebec’s four main political parties will participate in an English-language debate ahead of the Oct. 1 provincial election.
The Sept. 17 event at the Radio-Canada studios in Montreal will be the province’s first English-language TV debate.
A media consortium said Tuesday the 90-minute debate will be broadcast on several platforms, with details on the format and moderator to follow.
The debate will be carried live by CBC Quebec, CJAD 800, City, CTV News, Global News and the Montreal Gazette.
