MEDICINE HAT, AB — City crews are shifting their focus for their annual street sweeping project.

Crews have move to cleaning bridges, boulevards and medians, after starting on major roads in the city.

Two weeks from now, they’ll tackle school zones while kids are away for Easter.

The city has also posted the schedule for the neighbourhoods in line for sweeping.

The city is divided into 17 zones, with downtown and the hospital getting cleaned first.

Crews will give 12 hours notice to residents before they begin sweeping in the neighbourhoods. The first day of neighbourhood sweeping is April 24.

The full schedule and map is on the city’s website.
