Law Day at courthouse on Saturday
MEDICINE HAT, AB — For many, the courthouse can be an intimidating place. It’s busy on a weekday, and the processes at the court can be scary if you don’t have an understanding of the institution.
Fortunately, lawyers and law enforcement workers in Medicine Hat are taking the time to help answer the public’s questions about court and ease those fears.
The annual Law Day event runs Saturday at the provincial courthouse from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Darin Wight, a local lawyer who is helping organize the event, says Law Day offers a variety of activities for people of all ages.
