Tigers goalie Hollett feeling at home
MEDICINE HAT, AB — It’s been an off-season like no other for Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender Jordan Hollett.
The 6’5″ netminder from Langley, B.C. was traded from the Regina Pats to the Gas City in May. A month later, the 18-year-old was plucked by the Ottawa Senators in the 6th round of the NHL Entry Draft. Shortly afterwards, Hollett united with other Senators prospects in the club’s development camp.
But things quickly turned south shortly after arriving in Medicine Hat for Tigers training camp in late August.
He contracted a bad case of mono which knocked him out of the hockey scene for nearly a month. He missed the entire WHL preseason, along with Senators training camp.
