Nov 8, 2026 | 12:21 AM

On the back of five power-play goals, the Medicine Hat Tigers extended their win streak to five with a 7-1 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll recorded his first career hat trick in the win, scoring the eventual game-winner in the process.

The game was tied at one late in the second period before Ethan Creran took a solo five-minute fighting major, sending the Tigers to their fourth power-play of the game.

Gordon-Carroll, Tyson Moss, and Luke Cozens would all strike on the five-minute man-advantage as the Tigers led 4-1 heading into the third.

Medicine Hat would head to the power-play two more times to begin the third and would score twice, courtesy of Josh Evaschesen and Gordon-Carroll completing his hat trick.

Jake Burmis would round out the scoring late in the third period with his third goal of the season, putting a bow on the win and the Tigers U.S. road trip.

Liam Ruck added five assists in the win while Markus Ruck added four. The twins combined for 28 points over the six-game road trip.

After starting with a 7-2 loss to Wenatchee, the Tigers rattled off five straight wins to conclude their U.S. swing, marking the second straight time they have gotten five wins on their trip down south.

Carter Casey made 26 saves in the win, while Grayson Malinoski turned aside 40 shots in the loss.

The Tigers return home to begin a stretch where they play eight of their next ten at home, beginning Friday, November 13th against the Calgary Hitmen.
