Tigers eye fifth straight win, conclude U.S. trip against T-Birds

Nov 7, 2026 | 1:15 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers conclude their six-game U.S. Division road trip tonight in Kent, WA, as they battle the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Led by Luke Cozens sixth multi-point game of the season, Medicine Hat picked up a 5-2 win last night against the reigning WHL Champion Everett Silvertips.

Now winners of four straight, the Tabbies will aim to extend their win streak to five against a T-Birds squad that’s reeling after blowing a late 4-2 lead to the Kamloops Blazers last night.

Seattle returns home tonight after playing seven straight on the road, going 2-4-1-0 over that span.

Tonight will mark the return of Tigers forward Brayden Holberton to Seattle after being acquired by the Tigers back in May.

Holberton played 174 regular-season games with Seattle, putting up eight goals, 15 assists, and 295 penalty minutes over his tenure.

Over their U.S. swing, the Ruck twins have been the focal point of the Tigers offence, combining for 19 points over the last five games.

Markus Ruck now leads the team in scoring with 22 points on the campaign and ranks eighth amongst all WHL skaters in points.

Puck drop tonight from Seattle is slated for 8:00 p.m. MDT, with the pre-game show beginning at 7:45 p.m. on WILD 94.5 FM.
