Tigers late turnovers prove costly, Hitmen win 5-2

After tying the game at two, a pair of late third-period turnovers proved too much to overcome as the Medicine Hat Tigers lost 5-2 to the Calgary Hitmen.

Julien Maze powered the Tiger offence with a hat-trick, including the game-winner with five minutes left in the third.

Hitmen netminder Aidan Hesse was excelllent in the win for Calgary, making 25 saves en route to being named the games third star.

After heading to the penalty kill five times in Friday night’s loss, the HItmen didn’t committ a penalty, keeping the Tiger power play off the ice.
