Yaroslav Bryzgalov sealed the Tigers’ come-from-behind victory, scoring with 1:50 left in the third period to lift Medicine Hat to a 5-4 win over the Calgary Hitmen.

Trailing 3-1 midway through the second, the Tigers would get a pair of power-play goals from Dayton Reschny one minute apart to help even the game at three.

The Hitmen would retake the one-goal lead late in the frame courtesy of Shaun Hildebrandt’s first of the season.

Trailing 4-3 entering the third, the Tigers would get a game-tying four-on-four goal from Markus Ruck to tie the game, before Bryzgalov sealed the game late in the third period.

The win marks the 11th straight for the Tigers over the Hitmen, with seven of the 11 victories having come in one-goal games.

Josh Evaschesen also found the back of the net, while Carter Casey made 19 saves in the win for the Tigers.

Calgary saw goals from Andrei Molgachev, Brennan Brown, Bode Laylin, and Shaun Hildebrandt, while Eric Tu made 29 saves in the loss.

The Tigers and Hitmen rematch tomorrow night before the Tigers depart on their U.S. Division road trip.
