Medicine Hat seeking residents for City boards and agencies

The City of Medicine Hat is seeking residents to fill positions on several municipal boards and agencies, offering opportunities to help shape local decisions.

The recruitment includes positions with the Combative Sports Commission, Assessment Review Board, Subdivision and Development Appeal Board and others.

Commission members help ensure sanctioned combat sports events meet safety standards, while assessment board members hear property assessment appeals and make impartial decisions. The development and appeal board considers challenges to development permits and subdivision decisions.

The City says residents with a range of interests and experience can contribute to local governance through the appointments.
