Medicine Hat teen makes cross-country history as first power-chair para athlete at zones
A Medicine Hat teen made history this week as the first power-chair para athlete to compete at the Alberta South Zones junior high school cross-country playoffs.
Reid Hintz completed the two-kilometre course in 15 minutes and 18 seconds Wednesday at Nicholas Sheran Park in Lethbridge, with his older brother, Gage, serving as his guide runner.
