Tigers begin home-stand with 4-2 win over Raiders

A pair of Markus Ruck goals helped the Medicine Hat Tigers (4-1-0-0) begin their three-game homestand with a 4-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders (2-5-0-0).

It was the third multi-goal game of Markus’ career, who added an assist in the win and was named the game’s first star.

Gavin Kor and Reily Pickford also found the back of the net in the win, with Pickford netting his first career goal.

Only two pucks got past Tigers netminder Carter Casey in the game, with both coming on the penalty kill as Alisher Sarkenov and Owen Corkish netted power-play tallies for the Raiders in the loss.
