Two Medicine Hat Golfers compete at Canadian Women’s Senior Golf Championship

Two Medicine Hat golfers were among 118 competing at the Canadian Women’s Senior Golf Championship from Sept. 15-18 at Pine Hills Golf Club in Rocky Mountain House, Alta.

Cathy Fisher, representing the Medicine Hat Golf and Country Club, qualified for Friday’s final round after shooting 27-over par over two rounds on the par-73 course.

Fisher shot 90 on Wednesday and 94 on Thursday before teeing off Friday morning in 40th place.

On Friday, she shot 14-over par 87 to finish the three days at 41-over par. She finished the tournament in 38th place.
