The first phase will focus on the western section of Shaw Crescent SE near South Ridge Community Park, including the intersection at Stapeford Crescent SE and the western intersection of Sharpe Crescent SE. That phase is expected to run from Aug. 10 to Sept. 10, weather permitting.

Parking access will be restricted during this stage, with alternative arrangements provided to affected residents.

That phase is scheduled to run from Sept. 10 to Oct. 10, weather permitting.

The city says detours will be in place throughout construction, with no through traffic allowed.

Local traffic and emergency services will still have access to nearby properties.

Motorists are reminded to follow construction signage, temporary speed limits and directions from flag personnel while crews are working in the area.
