City of Medicine Hat releases corrected version of salary disclosures

The City of Medicine Hat has released salary ranges for its management and non-union professional positions as part of a transparency initiative approved by city council in May 2024.

The annual salary disclosure reports were published on July 2, 2026. At the time of the release, the salary range minimums were incorrect and have since been updated.

The City says the information is updated annually, or as required and is available alongside wage schedules for its unionized employee groups, including CUPE Local 46, IAFF Local 263, IBEW Local 254, and the Medicine Hat Police Association and Senior Officers Association.
