Medicine Hat’s Jesse Florkowski has completed his tournament at the United States Adaptive Open Golf Championship at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD.

During the 2025 Open, the Connaught Golf Club pro took top spot in the upper limb impairment category at one under par over three days.

In 2026, the world’s top-ranked one-armed golfer would improve his score from the previous year to two under par; however, it wasn’t low enough to repeat.

Florkowski opened the tournament with a one-over-par 73 on Monday, before shooting a two-under-par 70 on Tuesday to qualify for the final round at one-under-par. On Wednesday, he shot a one-under-par 71.

Florkowski would place third in the upper limb impairment category, a stroke behind fellow Canadian Chris Willis. Winning the category with a score of nine under par was Justin Carlock of Eaton, Colo.

Across all categories, Florkowski had the ninth-best score. The top golfer across all categories was Kipp Popert from England, who won the event for the fourth straight year, shooting 18 under par.
