Medicine Hat Mavericks game on Monday postponed

The Medicine Hat Mavericks home game against the Swift Current 57s, originally scheduled for Monday, June 1, has been pushed back a week to Monday, June 8, due to rain in the forecast.

The Mavs have played four games this season, with one win and three losses.

After an 8-6 loss to the Regina Red Sox in their home opener on Thursday, the Mavs bounced back with an 8-7 win in Brooks against the Bombers on Friday.

During the two-game road trip in Regina, the Red Sox continued to hold the edge against the Mavs.

The Mavs lost 12-9 on Saturday and 7-5 on Sunday.

Western Canadian Baseball League action continues for the Mavericks on Tuesday in Swift Current with a 7:05 p.m. game at Mitchell Field.

The Mavs return to Regina on Thursday, before a three-game homestand at Athletic Park against the Moose Jaw Miller Express from Friday to Sunday.

Mavs home games this season are 6:45 p.m., except on Sundays when the start time is 2:05 p.m.
