90-year-old weather records fall in Medicine Hat and One Four on Tuesday
A heat wave in southeastern Alberta led to weather records falling in some communities on May 26.
Environment Canada says that both Medicine Hat and the One Four area broke 90-year-old daily records.
The temperature in Medicine Hat on Tuesday reached 34.8 C, warmer than the 33.9 C mark set in 1936.
One Four was 34 C, bettering the previous high of 33.3 C.
