City of Medicine Hat set to host week of events for National Volunteer Week
The City of Medicine Hat is marking National Volunteer Week with a series of appreciation events aimed at celebrating and strengthening volunteerism in the city.
Taking place from April 19 to 25, the week carries the 2026 theme Ignite Volunteerism, encouraging residents to renew their commitment to volunteering and community connection.
Working with Volunteer Alberta and supported by funding from the Government of Alberta, the city has organized a lineup of activities to recognize current volunteers and encourage new ones to get involved.
Three Volunteer Café Chats will take place, including April 19 from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Poolhouse Café & Roastery, April 20 from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Station Coffee Co., and April 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Nosh.
