A five-goal third period helped lift the Medicine Hat Tigers overcome three separate two-goal deficits to upend the Edmonton Oil Kings 10-6 and take an 11-point lead in the Central Division race.

Noah Davidson bookended the Tigers goal-scoring en route to his first career hat-trick.

Markus Ruck added a one goal and four assists for a five-point night, while Ethan Neutens added a pair of goals on his way to a four-point outing.

Markus now sits one point back of Kamloops Blazers forward J.P. Hurlbert in the league scoring race; Liam Ruck sits two points back.

Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll, Liam Ruck, Kade Stengrim, and Bryce Pickford also added singles in the victory.

Edmonton, Alta., native Jordan Switzer allowed five goals on 17 shots before being pulled for Carter Casey.

Casey turned aside eight of nine shots faced and recorded an assist while backstopping the Orange and Black to the win.

Ethan Simcoe allowed ten goals on 37 shots in the loss for the Oil Kings.

The Medicine Hat powerplay was perfect on all three attempts in the game, while not going to the penalty kill once for the first time all season.

The Tigers are off until Friday night when they begin a home-and-home with the Calgary Hitmen.
