Medicine Hat Tigers set to conclude home-and-home with the Lethbridge Hurricanes

Feb 21, 2026 | 11:00 AM

Following a 3-0 shutout victory in Lethbridge last night, the Medicine Hat Tigers aim to sweep the home-and-home with their Highway 3 rival tonight inside the friendly confines of Co-op Place.

Jordan Switzer turned aside all 26 shots he faced last night, securing his second shutout of the season.

Former Hurricane, Luke Cozens, found the back of the net in his return to Lethbridge, scoring his 22nd of the season that would go on to serve as the eventual game-winning goal.

The Tabbies have points in six straight games and secured a big two points last night, gaining ground on the Edmonton Oil Kings in the race for top spot in the Central Division.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes enter 12 points out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with 12 games remaining on the schedule.

Although not mathematically eliminated, the ‘Canes need to play near-perfect hockey over their final 12 for any chance at cracking the playoffs.

Medicine Hat is nestled neatly in second place in the Eastern Conference, seven points up on Edmonton, and seven points back of the Prince Albert Raiders for top spot in the Conference.

Puck drop from inside Co-op Place is slated for 7:00 p.m MST.

The pre-game show gets rolling at 6:30 on WILD 94.5 FM
