Bryce Pickford makes return from injury as Tigers open home-and-home with Hurricanes

Feb 20, 2026 | 2:42 PM

Exactly one month since he last laced up the skates for the Orange and Black, Bryce Pickford is making his return to the Tiger lineup.

The Medicine Hat Tigers captain had been on a torrid goal-scoring pace, leading the entire Western Hockey League in goals before an injury that sidelined the Tigers captain for the past month.

Still tied for the team lead in goals with 33, Pickford will have some work to do to reach his pre-season goal of netting 50.

Pickford is a welcome addition back to the Tiger lineup that went 5-2-2-1 in his absence.

Tonight, the Tigers begin a home-and-home with their Highway 3 rivals, the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

It marks the fifth of eight regular-season matchups between the divisional foes.

Medicine Hat has been perfect against Lethbridge thus far, holding a 4-0-0-0 record.

Their last meeting came back on January 31st inside Co-op Place when the Tigers defeated the ‘Canes 8-4.

The Tabbies enter with points in their last five games, while the Hurricanes enter with just one win over their last six.

Puck drop from inside the VisitLethbrige.com Arena is slated for 7:00 p.m. MST.

The pre-game show gets underway at 6:45 p.m. on WILD 94.5 FM.
