CWE will Bodyslam Hunger to help the Medicine Hat Community Cares Society Food Hamper Program

Feb 12, 2026 | 1:48 PM

Canadian Wrestling’s Elite joined forces with the Medicine Hat Community Cares Society to help replenish the Food Hamper Program and to “Bodyslam Hunger” as part of its 17th anniversary tour.

The tour is prairie-based, with the Medicine Hat show taking place on Feb. 19 at the Stampede Grounds, featuring multiple local wrestlers and several top Canadian professionals, including a former WWE star, Davey Boy Smith Jr.

Food and cash donations are accepted in support of the Community Cares Society, a provincially regulated non-profit that works to relieve poverty among working, unemployed and unhoused residents.

Each food donation made to the hamper program will earn an entry into a draw for five tickets to the Feb. 19 event, along with a prize package donated by one of the wrestlers appearing on the card.

Cash donations may be sent by e-transfer before the draw deadline of Feb. 16, and individuals and organizations may enter multiple times with additional donations.

To arrange a drop-off or pick-up of donations, the public is asked to contact Patty Musgrave on the Medicine Hat Cares Society Facebook Page, or by email.

Doors open at Higdon Hall on the Stampede Grounds at 6:30 p.m., with the first bell at 7 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at Mr. Pretzels in the Medicine Hat Mall or online.
