Brooks Bandits sign Hue from Humboldt Broncos

Rylan Hue from the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has been signed by the Brooks Bandits.

The 18-year-old appeared in 33 games with the Broncos, recording 10 goals and seven assists for 17 points.

Bandits director of hockey operations Wayne Labrie said he followed Rylan’s development closely over the past few seasons since seeing him at the team’s U18 Showcase with the Saskatoon Contacts.

Labrie said one of the team’s key goals ahead of the deadline was to add a competitive forward who is hard to play against, and he believes Hue meets both needs.

Hue is a five-foot-11, 187-pound forward who also represented Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge earlier this season, registering one goal and one assist in five games.
