Medicine Hat Tigers battle Lethbridge Hurricanes in Central Division tilt

Jan 31, 2026 | 12:06 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers are back in action on home ice tonight as they welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes inside Co-op Place in an all-Central Division tilt.

Both clubs enter off 4-1 victories.

The Hurricanes were in action at home last night against the Calgary Hitmen, where an Owen Berge hat-trick helped power Lethbridge to their third straight win, their longest win streak of the season.

Meanwhile, the Tabbies have been off since Tuesday when they began a three-game homestand with a bounce-back victory against the Saskatoon Blades.

Tonight marks the fourth of eight regular-season meetings between the ‘Canes and Tigers.

The Tigers lead the head-to-head series 3-0-0, most recently defeating the ‘Canes 7-4 inside Co-op Place on January 10th.

Medicine Hat has won 11 straight regular-season and postseason matchups against the Hurricanes dating back to December 15th, 2024.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. MST, and the pre-game show begins at 6:30 on WILD 94.5 FM.
