Musician Lotus Wight to perform at the Medicine Hat Public Library in support of SPCA
Multi-instrumentalist Lotus Wight will take the stage at the Medicine Hat Public Library Theatre on Feb. 5 for a performance that will help support the Medicine Hat SPCA.
Wight plays old-time music on banjo, guitar, jaw harp and his own invention, the contrabass harmoniphoneum, bringing a sound that includes folk, blues, and ragtime.
Tickets for the performance next Thursday at 7 p.m. are available at the Library or Medicine Hat SPCA.
The local non-profit will receive 50 per cent of the ticket sales, which are $10 each or $24 for three.
