Mounties spikebelt truck near Leader, stolen from Brooks in multi-province effort

A multi-province effort has lead to a stolen truck being located.

Brooks RCMP received a report of a stolen Nissan truck on
Sept. 4, 2025, at 8:09 a.m., that had been taken sometime overnight.

The owner advised Mounties that surveillance video captured the theft, showing the truck collided with another parked vehicle as it was driven away.

The vehicle was registered as stolen and a be on the look out was issued to surrounding detachments.
