Medicine Hat Tennis Club open mixed doubles tournament wraps up over the weekend

The Medicine Hat Tennis Club hosted its open mixed doubles tournament over the weekend.
Coming into the tournament Tracy and Calvin Heller held a 10 year run winning top spot at the event.
That streak came to an end as the pair was defeated in the final by Emilee Krushel and Brent Meyer.
A straight set victory from Krushel and Meyer of 6-4 and 7-5.
The B side vent had Dawn Olson and Mike Fentabil defeating CoraLee Riehl and Quinlan McElroy-O’Driscoll 6-2 and 6-3.
In the C side was Joe Ciona and Pam Douville winning over Darryl and Irene Giesbrecht 7-6 and 6-4.
The intermediate division had father daughter duo of Maryn and Geoff Paulgaard defeating Margaret Klok and Lydell Wenzel.
There were 50 players competing in the two day event which was the final tournament of the summer season at the club.
