Oyen RCMP investigating mischief to police vehicle

Oyen RCMP are actively investigating an incident of mischief to one of their police vehicles.

Mounties said those responsible placed two homemade tire deflation devices under the tires of a police vehicle parked at the residence of an off-duty RCMP officer in Oyen.

The homemade deflation devices punctured two tires, rendering the vehicle inoperable.

The suspect(s) gained access to the property between 8 p.m. on Monday, July 14 and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday July 15.

Mounties said the lives of the officers and the public could have been placed at risk as a result of this crime.
